PepsiCo Introduces 'Simply Naked' Doritos and Cheetos Free from Additives

PepsiCo has announced the launch of its new product line, 'Simply Naked' Doritos and Cheetos, which will be free from artificial colors and flavors. This initiative reflects the company's commitment to providing consumers with snacks that align with growing preferences for cleaner, more natural ingredients.

The 'Simply Naked' line aims to cater to health-conscious consumers who are increasingly scrutinizing food labels for additives and artificial ingredients. By eliminating these components, PepsiCo hopes to attract a broader audience looking for snacks that offer both flavor and transparency in their ingredient lists.

In addition to PepsiCo's product launch, the fast-food chain Steak ’n Shake has also made headlines by announcing that it will begin using A2 milk in its beverages within the next month. A2 milk is derived from cows that produce a variant of the beta-casein protein, which is believed to be easier for some individuals to digest compared to conventional A1 milk.

These developments come as part of a larger trend in the food and beverage industry, where companies are increasingly focusing on health and wellness. Consumers are becoming more aware of the ingredients in their food, leading to a demand for products that prioritize natural components and transparency.

As PepsiCo and Steak ’n Shake adapt to these changing consumer preferences, they join a growing number of brands that are re-evaluating their product offerings to meet the needs of a more health-conscious market. The introduction of 'Simply Naked' snacks and A2 milk beverages signifies a shift towards more mindful consumption in the food industry.
