NYPD Releases Surveillance Images of Suspect in Shooting of Jets' Boyd

New York City, NY – The New York Police Department (NYPD) has released surveillance images of a suspect involved in the shooting of New York Jets cornerback Kris Boyd, which occurred early Sunday morning in Midtown Manhattan. The incident took place outside the Sei Less eatery located on West 38th Street.

According to police sources, Boyd was at the establishment with friends when he decided to leave due to a perceived shift in the atmosphere that made him feel uneasy. The cornerback reportedly sensed tension inside the venue, prompting his departure shortly before the shooting occurred.

The suspect, as captured in the surveillance images, was last seen wearing a black cap, a black sweatshirt, black pants, and multi-colored sneakers. Additionally, the individual was carrying a black book bag at the time of the incident. Authorities are urging anyone with information regarding the suspect or the shooting to come forward.

As of now, it remains unclear whether Boyd was the intended target of the shooting. The investigation is ongoing, and the NYPD is working diligently to gather more information and apprehend the suspect.

This incident has raised concerns within the community, particularly given the high-profile nature of the victim. The Jets organization has not yet issued a public statement regarding the shooting or Boyd's condition.

The NYPD encourages anyone with relevant information to assist in the investigation, as they continue to work to ensure the safety of the community and bring those responsible for the shooting to justice.
